ASSIGNMENT 1
Fig 1.1 Idea Sketch (1)
Fig 1.2 Idea Sketch (2)

Fig1.3 Layouting 1
First, I tried to visualize my idea by doing the layout for the title and cut out a photograph to represent the artist. Then, from the initial idea, I wanted to have waterfall eyes.

Fig 1.4 Layouting 2
I was running out of ideas and decided to play with the background color and the typography style.

Fig1.5  Layouting 3
I tried to add the mountain and clouds from the sketches that I made before and combine them together. Moreover, I try to find a matching typeface to reflect the artist's personality.

Feedback

I showed my layout for the poster assignment. Mr. Mike said that the chosen photograph didn't show the boldness and the confidence that I proposed in the mood board on the previous meeting. Moreover,  Mr. Mike told me to look for photographs that show the body part of the person and he suggested me to use the photo of Billie Eilish that I showed him before. Furthermore, Mr. Mike didn't think that the waterfall eyes was working, so he told me to try to make one without the waterfall eyes.

The Microsite Mockup should adhere to industry standard web grid system and need not involve coding. A digital composition is expected as the end result detailing every interactive and navigation function with informed rationalization of design and user experience.

You are expected to be as original as possible in your design and idea conceptualization.

As this is a partial submission, please compile all 3 parts (Assignment 2A and B) before submitting officially via the provided upload link.

PROGRESSION

On this session, Mr. Mike wanted us to do research about microsite and then explain it to him. Moreover, he told us as a group to discuss our next group project which was making a microsite and choose one of the topics that our group had from the previous assignment.

Fig 2.1 Chosen Poster for Assignment 2

We told Mr. Mike that we wanted to do Wynne's game poster about an adventure game. After we explained about the game, then Mr. Mike told us to do a study case about microsite from other triple-A games and how they promote them. We needed to compile all the information and then observe their strategy.

From this lecture, Mr. Mike mentioned about 960 grid system and wanted us to use wirify.com to analyze the wireframe that we want to do as a reference for the microsite.

REFLECTION

Experience
From this week, I experienced working with my new groupmates from a different batch. It was quite challenging because we didn't know about each other that well and our work style. We ended up making a desk job while doing the presentation. For our first presentation together, it went well pretty well although we got feedback to improve on the next presentation. For my individual project, I was feeling kind of lost in this week, I thought about changing my layout again and do more collage and photobashing technique. However, Mr. Mike gave me very helpful advice so that I could execute the idea better.

Observation
I observed that I need to manage my time properly while doing a short semester with lots of group assignments because we were not dealing with our own schedule but also our groupmates as well. By doing my own desk job right on time, and not procrastinate while doing my work, I could manage my individual and group work on track. However, I was really worried about all of the group project this semester. It felt like I wanted to everything I could, well actually we need to corporate with others and trust our group member.

Findings
It is important for me to know my capabilities and not wasting my time by overthinking everything, instead just do what I need to do and keep trying to do my best. I always want to try a lot of things while doing my project, well actually I need to focus on my strengths and make good from it. Moreover, communication skills are really important when it comes to dealing with people (friends, colleagues, lecturers, etc.). The way we talk and present ourselves could explain how we deal with a situation and our own personality (self branding).
