Ideation is the mode of the design process in which you concentrate on idea generation. Mentally it represents a process of ‘going wide’ in terms of concepts and outcomes.

- Uncover unexpected areas of innovation.
- Create volume and variety in your innovation options.

FEEDBACK
Week 2
Try to search for something relating with a smile, something iconic and symbolize it. Complete the rest 20 icons. Keep looking and exploring possible ideas.
Week 3
Nice focus on your second group of icons concentrating on types of smile. Good job on your current selection. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
Keep exploring for your ideas.
Week 5
For the last 20 visuals, consider the brand's message and idea, compile them and make the collage.
REFLECTION
Experience
This project was not as easy as it looks. Compiling 100 icons/symbols was hard for me especially looking at my topic. I needed to think wider and considered about the relation or connection of the icon/symbol to my campaign. Exploring possible ideas that could inspire me throughout the progression of the ongoing project was quite challenging. Moreover, I gained a lot of new knowledge and information from this project whether it's connected to the topic of my campaign or just a basic knowledge.
Observation
I observed that discussing with my friends helped me to come up with new ideas. Furthermore, sometimes I needed to expand my ideas and not concentrating on one subject/idea only.
Findings
From this project, I learned to think wider and expand my thinking out of the box. Sometimes, the best idea came from something absolutely have no relation to the topic. Moreover, sometimes by asking people their opinion could help us to explore more about the subject matter.
